Goodbye to Year 2008!
Welcome to Year 2009!
Year 2008 was a really fruitful year to me! I've accomplished many things that I would never think of doing it.. Compared to previous years, there's much more ups & downs happening in my life.. There were so many first times that occurred!
I've graduated from SP with desired grades.
I've enjoyed my temp job in UOB.
I've enrolled into NUS.
I've joined YZFC.SG & know ZARA LB!
I've got the chance to sing with Yuzhong!
I've met the greatest people I have crazy time with in JJFC!
I've got the chance to join contests in JJ's & Yuzhong's events!
and many more that I can't remember right now..
I really had a great year! I'm a really happier person than I used to be! Thanks to my beloved JJFC peeps & ZARA LB for bringing so much joy & fun into my life. Like, it's the 1st time I've truly celebrated memorable Christmas & New Year because these lovely people were there with me! I hope Year 2009 would be even better ahead! There'll be so much to be anticipated! And the 1st one would definitely be JJ 2009 Concert in Singapore! =D
Anyway! My last day of 2008 ended off crazily & my first day of 2009 also started wildly! It was totally insane, I can say! What else can you expect from the usual mad JJFC gang? haha..
I really hope Mr Koh Yongsheng had a memorable time like I had! I think it's e 1st time I put in so much efforts in planning a surprise birthday celebration!
Last Day of 2008
Met Carol early in e morning & accompany her to Raffles Place area. Yes, I'm her official navigator. She gets lost easily. We went to RHB bank 1st, before going to OCBC. We walked around & guessed our way through because we weren't sure of the CBD area ourselves. But luckily I've interned & temped in Raffles Place before. It is not easy to get lost in Raffles Place because you'll end up somewhere familiar in the end. Just like how I used to follow them randomly everywhere to pass our time during lunch breaks. haha.. Oh yes! Carol is really a "麋鹿" can! She can go to a place for more times than me, yet she only know how to walk from A to B, then to C, but not from A to C!
After our trip to e CBD area, we took train to Yishun to find LOVE! LOVE was so nice to give Mr Koh her stitch soft toy that she won from somewhere when she learnt that he likes stitch & we were going to give him many stitch! So Carol & I went Yishun to get e stitch from her. She even wrote a polite letter to Mr Koh to wish him advanced Happy Birthday! So nice rite! As 小白菜, I've vetted through e letter personally! oops! haha...
LOVE is so cute can! To her, Carol was a very serious person. That was my 1st impression of Carol too! Though she's seen Carol many times, but they didn't know each other well yet. So while we were discussing where to have lunch, LOVE's cheeks went all red, blushing! She's super tensed up & shy la! I was telling her, Relax! dun be afraid of Carol, because once you know her, you'll know she always ki siao! hahaha! And true enough, LOVE relaxed more when we sat down to have lunch together at LJS. Now LOVE, you know Carol is a totally different person from the Carol you heard JJFC Radio & in person right! haha!!!
After lunching with LOVE, Carol & I went to take bus back to Tampines & LOVE went home. I carried e stitch in my hands everywhere until I gave it to Mr Koh later on k! Then we went to Giant Tampines to get food for dinner. Siew Yong joined us there after her work too. Took shuttle bus back & Siew Yong & I went to collect Mr Koh's cake. Met Carol back at Tampines interchange as she went to buy Mr Koh's "bed"(photo later) from Toy 'R Us.
We went back to Carol's house & started our preparation. Siew Yong & Carol were in e kitchen preparing our dinner, while I stayed in Carol's room to start making Mr Koh's stitch party hat! Carol came in a few times to help me think of how to make it. My saviour, Angela, arrived & helped me to make e hat! I'm terrible in arts & crafts, and her help came timely! haha.. After awhile, Yue Ming also reached Carol's house & helped us a little.
We called Mr Koh to ask him where he was. It was almost time & we were rushing to finish e hat before his arrival. When he was about to reach, Carol & Yue Ming went to fetch him & buy chicken wings. And they brought him to some garden or park to walk so as to drag more time! When Carol called to tell us she's already in e lift, Angela & I panicked & quickly bring e completed hat into another room. Then we watched Little Nyonya together because Mr Koh wanted to watch.
We finally had our dinner after e show. Pasta, vegetables & chicken wings. Dinner by main cook, Carol wasn't that bad afterall! haha.. After dinner, they even have ice-cream for dessert! haha..
After finishing e ice-cream, Carol & Angela went into e kitchen to prepare e cake. Carol took quite a long time to light up e candles & Mr Koh got suspicious because we didn't want him to get out of e room. hahaha! And we turn off e lights & Yue Ming tricked him to take photos in e dark to drag time. Finally Carol came in with e cake!The rest of the end of Year 2008 shall be depicted by photos!
First Day of 2009
We counted down to 2009 with 933 tuned in while eating Mr Koh's birthday cake! =D
After which, we cleared up the mess & Mr Koh started planning our 6-part sms dedication to be sent to 933. Then Mr Koh decided to call in to 933. And lucky ass! He actually got through! And we went damn crazy on e radio! Mr Koh didn't know our conversation with Jiafa would be pre-recorded & played on 933! omg! so funny can! I seriously think Jiafa was so entertained by us! We actually forgot to request Jiafa to play JJ's song la! And it became funny because Jiafa played Yuzhong's song right after playing our conversation! haha.. Even though we called in, we still went on with our 6-part sms dedication. We mentioned that it's supposed to be mini白菜, and not 奶油白菜.. Oh yes! Anyway, mini白菜 is my beloved LOVE for a reason that only we know! =D And Jiafa is so nice to even bother to continue to entertain us by reading out our dedication. He mentioned that we've called in earlier & we're from JJFC, that Yongsheng's gang. He did correct e mini白菜vs奶油白菜 name, but this time round, he got Yongsheng's name wrong! He called him Junsen instead. And this time, we requested him to play JJ's song in 1 of e 6 sms-es, though we were not supposed to request songs through sms dedication. And then, Carol went into facebook & PM-ed Jiafa to thank him for entertaining our nonsense. At e same time, she told him that he'd remembered e wrong name.
Towards e end of Jiafa's programme before he knocked off, Jiafa gave us a surprise! He said he was going to play JJ's 我还想她 before going off & read e last few dedications. Just before he played e song, he corrected Yongsheng's name la, JJFC 的永森！ Jiafa totally ROCKS CAN! Although we were so rubbish, he still entertained us! He made our New Year special! =D
Anyway, we only went to sleep at 5am in e morning after some scramble & bloghopping. Yue Ming went home & Yongsheng slept in e nice "bed" we made for him!
Woke up at 10plus & we listened to e 933 recording we made. Each time I listen to it, I'll definitely laugh! Went to wake up Mr Koh by shouting "HUAT ARH!" that's our favourite pasttime! haha.. We prepared & left Carol's house for our movie date! Mr Koh went home as he was going out to study with his friends. Met Yue Ming again before going down to PS. Dorothy & Shichun joined us at GV Plaza for e movie. Gave Dorothy her birthday present!HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOROTHY! =D
And we watched PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA! it was super cute & nice! I love e movie! =D
I like Sōsuke, the 5-year old boy in e movie! He's so cute! But Ponyo's chicken feet-like limbs does look scary together with her whole body when she was turning human.
After the movie, we went for lunch in e foodcourt. Sat there & chatted very long. After which, we went to The Central to shop awhile, then all of us split our ways to go home. I was super tired & slept on Carol's shoulders in e train. =)
