have been busy mugging my econs since morning..

in fact, I realize econs is actually quite interesting! thanks jian hong for telling me it is, e other day.. just tt e lecturer sux such tt I dun really get some facts he taught during lectures.. until I really got started into reading e textbook today..

well.. kind of busy trying to finish reading chap3 & 4 so I can get onto my tutorial, and den touch on my marketing tutorial too.. I wan to finish both by today or tmr, so I can touch on my accounting tutorial + e additional homework tt has to be submitted on wed.. argh! tutorials r piling up!!

it was so last min k.. coz I received an sms from i-weekly at ard 1pm to say I've won a pair of preview tix, and e movie is at 7pm.. so I had to find someone to go wif me so last min too! haha.. and so many ppl r not free la! den I rmb Faye has not found a job yet.. and so she's free! hehe..

e movie is great! it's not a crap movie as some ppl expected la! just coz it's a animation version.. oh well. at least to me, it's 1 of e Star Wars movie I know wad's going on! haha!!! but even Faye has e same feeling as me! so I recommend to even non-Star Wars fans to watch too! some parts r cute, and some parts r funny.. must watch! hehe...

oh ya! there's tis robot called R2 in e movie ma.. den there's chinese subtitles for e movie.. I forgot wad they call R2 in chinese in e front la, but near e end of e movie, e last time they call R2, it was translated as "阿杜"!! me & faye was laughing almost at e same time! hahaha!!!

yahyah... I'm pretty exhausted by now.. seriously.. oh man!!! AAHH!!

Yeah! I'm finally done wif my CS1101X tutorial!

well... kind of... coz there's 2 questions tt I do not how to solve at all.. and I did spent lots of time trying to figure them out! so I'm ready for tmr's CS1101X tutorial! lol...

and now! guess it's time to move on to EC1301 tutorial.. I think it's gonna be very sucky.. coz I browsed thru e tutorial & it's super wordy! sianz!!! and tutorial class is on tue! oh man! thank goodness my MKT1003 tutorial is on even weeks! hehe..

Update: I'm completed 3/5 of my econs tutorial! and did abit of my math tutorial! hehe.. hope I'm still as hardworking as I am 2 weeks later & onwards.. lol..

slept at 2am, and woke up by my hp at 4am plus.. din really get back to sleep after tt..

went for orientation @ TOUCH!
e place is at kallang bahru.. we were split into 3 groups, and I went wif e hokkien group! 1st house visit - Mdm Chua! we helped to clean up her house.. mopped floor, cleaned fans, wipe windows.. it's a joy to do household chores wif so many ppl! =D e next house was Mdm Tan.. she's a super cheerful lady! we just sat down at her house & chatted wif her.. it's kind of funny coz janessa's hokkien is abit here & there.. and we had a great time laughing most of e time! haha..

and I made new friends! 2 of them which I talked most to r Yuyan, Show's fan, and Peijie, Jay's fan.. haha... and e both of them keep praising each other when doing household chores can! Lol!!! so funny!!

den we had some debrief session at e end.. and filled up some forms.. I really find it meaningful & e joy in helping others! I guess I really love it! =D

after tt, went to kallang mrt to wait for siew yong.. we were supposed to meet at 2pm, but she din expect herself to end so late.. and she did ask me to go myself 1st.. but I didn't! haha!! coz I spent abt 1hr sitting at kallang mrt platform talking on e phone! haha.. well... thanks for ur listening ears! =D

when siew yong came, we travelled down to suntec for tis month's recruitment drive.. was fa-ing dai down there la.. coz I'm supposed to return siew yong's hp to her! den shun bian went down to have my super late lunch..hee... me, siew yong & faye had a great time trying to get rid of yujia who I haven seen for such a long time.. haha.. oh well... it seems tt everyone at e recruitment drive could see how tired I was! and really thanks for all e concern! I'm just too tired! haha..

got home in e evening & slept until 10pm plus! woah... am supposed to prepare for my CS1101X tutorial.. but I'm kind of not paying attention at all! hee.. hence.. I'm blogging rite now!

I went to help out for 2 hrs.. but den din really do anything much la.. den went for lunch wif jocelyn, jiawei, xinyi & their fren.. after lunch, I still have 1 hr plus to my math lecture, so me & jocelyn went to walk around e bazaar.. and I ended up spending so much at e bazaar! bought a big stitch & small keychain stitch press-e-teeth game! haha. and den a Love Export shirt & a fbt shorts.. sheesh...

wanted to leave e bazaar de.. but still got almost an hr left, and we din know where to go.. so we went back to paint a shirt for e cambodia kids! I love e shirt I painted! =P so cute hor! haha...

went to e buzz stand to buy my magazines again! it's magazine DaY! I spent a total of $20 there! (half of them belongs to ah na la! haha..) and e uncle gave me 4 free admission tix to e butterfly park & insect kingdom! LOL~!

I love it! so geography to me! can u imagine life in e core of e earth? suddenly I missed studying geo! crust, mantel, magma, core! dunno if I'm rite! but it's definitely something like tt! haha.. anw, e movie is really interesting la! hee..

after e movie, rina drove us to Marina @ Keppel Bay.. we had alot of fun there! took tons of photos over there! e scenery is super nice there.. and e place is quiet! nice place to have lots of fun!

at 1 point of time, we just sat down & blasted yuzhong's music on my hp.. we sat down to relax & chat.. wad a nice way to spend our time yeah.. hee..

den we went to TCC there to have our dinner.. after dinner, rina drove us to clarke quay.. and me & anna went to lunar to watch claire's music party!

I din bother to ask since I've to buy e textbook anyway.. $49+ after 5% student discount! it's tt ex k! partly there's no 2nd hand textbbook for marketing.. plus tt module is my UE?? oh my... nearly fainted.. spent like ard $150 for all my 5 textbooks?? and dun be deceived by tt total price coz it includes my math book costs only $13.30 & it's as thick as a secondary sch chinese textbook only..

pls dun tell me abt mugging! it's only e 1st week! but some of my frens ard me have alr said they started to mug?! I dun wanna listen! it just make me stressed! peer pressure!

I wrote too long, if not I would be e 1st one! hee.. and after tt, I went to my own account... den I got e feeling tt he wun be asleep so soon even though we left words in our comments to ask him sleep early.. coz it's alr like 1am++?? so I thot he might be still editting some images or sth..

den I went to refresh, he alr posted a 2nd entry in tt less than 30min! woah! haha.. and tis time I was e 1st one to reply to tt entry! =D Wee~~

after posting tt comment, I went back to kpo abt e comments on e previous entry lo.. and know wad?? Start of School Week 1 gone half..

I'm back!!!

1st day of sch was 9am-12pm, CS1101X.. 1st lesson is usually quite slack la.. doing all e admin matters & intro all tt lor.. and we played sudoku! I'm serious! logic & algorithm! hee.. nah.. if u dunno wad I'm talking abt.. as in, sudoku is just an example tt programs r to be as precise as possible.. oh well.. haha... e one & only thing I hate - e labs in basement.. there's totally no reception can! den went Co-Op to buy my java textbook! so confusing can! not all books can be found in e same co-op.. sheesh..

2nd day of sch was fulfilling la.. met a seller in e morning to get my 2nd hand econs textbook.. den went for ACC1002X lecture... kind of sian can.. was disturbing ppl on msn.. I wanted to pay attention de, but admin matters & introduction were only done at ard 10.25am?? e lecture started at 10am btw.. and den wad happened next?? we went into serious lecture & I was telling ppl I'm talking to on msn tt I was going to concentrate on e lecture.. but 5min later, I was back on msn! haha... not my fault! I really did wanna concentrate, but e lecturer stopped at slide 7 to give us 10min break? like lol??

met joanna for lunch @ biz canteen.. den joanna met her fren, nicholas, our senior in SOC.. den her fren meet his fren, huishan.. haha!! after lunch, we went to com1 so tt nicholas can teach us how to connect & use e sch printer.. thank nicholas for helping me to connect & setting up e network! =D

I made a great discovery too! I thot huishan's english-speaking lehz! but she exclaimed, "林宇中" when she saw my wallpaper after I turn on my laptop! den she asked, "Y no JJ?" it turned out tt she's a JJ fan too! HAHA!! so cool rite!!

anw, after they left for their ACC1002X lecture, I stay behind to transfer my notes over to my printout.. after tt, travelled to YIH to hand in my tuition grant & get my Adobe Suite Bundle from IT co-op! Wee~~ I got photoshop le! Yeah!! so happy!

met rachel on e bus by chance while boarding e bus to travel to sci blk.. hee!! finally got a classmate for a lecture! so we went to sci co-op to buy our so-not-worth-it introductory maths textbooks.. haha.. den went to lt 33 to wait for e previous lecture to end.. saw Hans there too.. so e 3 of us sat together in e lecture hall..

okie la.. introductory maths is not as bad as I think.. at least I feel tt e lecturer is motivating la.. and he's kind of funny too.. he kept saying tt e textbook is not really compulsory, but he was like keep on promoting e textbook?! lol.. e reason we kept laughing is coz e book author is him.. math is confusing can! but I'll learn to cope wif it! =D

went home wif rachel after lecture.. we were so crap can?! we boarded e bus den realize we forgot tt we were supposed to attend tis talk we signed up for students exempted from CS2102! haha!!! so rubbish rite! oh well! we still went home afterall la..

went to sleepover at Siew Yong's house last nite!!! =D we were supposed to watch Beijing Olympics 2008 Opening Ceremony together.. haha.. but I went to kope her JJ's pics! haha!! wif permission de hor!

and siew yong's niece is so cute! 2 yr old! but she gave me a shock! which I dunno whether to laugh or cry can?? omg?? it's like, I was playing wif her & asked her who's those 2 ppl (JJ & Rynn.. duh..) on my hp.. and she replied “人”to both.. innocent ma... den I taught her to say both of them r "kor kors".. so I asked her again, which she responded as "kor kors" instead of “人”.. when I asked her like again, while I was pointing to Rynn, she suddenly popped out, “乌龟”! I was like =O!!! I dunno y she said tt! but apparently nobody taught her?? omg! haha...

anw, me & siew yong went for dinner/supper at a nearby coffeeshop at 11.45pm like tt.. e frogleg porridge is really delicious! =D had a super full meal.. so we went to walk 2 rounds around e area b4 going back to her house.. when we went back, it was already 1plus... we only went to bed like only 2plus..

woke up at 8plus & prepare! den went to have breakfast at another nearby coffeeshop b4 going to Ivy's house.. but actually, we went to popular to get some stationery for Ivy & Siew Yong's office to get her hp charger.. thanks Siew Yong! I love her so much k! my hp died on me somehow & she loaned me her spare hp.. and we spent e whole afternoon at Ivy's house! actually, I was supposed to go there kpo la.. haha.. but I got help out hor!

went home in e evening & prepare to go out again.. actually, supposed to meet Acacians for dinner, but I had my dinner at home instead.. den my mama & bro pei me go Singtel to get a new hp.. NNOO!!! I'm so gonna miss my OH-SO-LUCKY hp la! T.T I cant bear to part wif it! but it's kind of no choice, coz it alr died on me twice in 3 days.. 长痛不如短痛.. haiz...

after getting my new hp, I went down to meet Acacians at city hall! they were having dinner at Raffles City, so I went there to find them.. den we went to watch e NDP fireworks! it's so pretty! =D too bad I dun have photos of them la.. hee... e whole place was so crowded can! there's like so many police & so many human traffic congestion around! oh my! but we managed to get our way out & went to Central.. slacked & talked in Starbucks for e nite lo..

COW (Computing Orientation Week) actually started last fri la.. haha.. dun laugh ar... Science Orientation Week is called SOW.. my group is The Magicians.. and we're amazingly powerful.. nah... I'm just crapping.. had games+games last fri & Freshman Inauguration Ceremony + talks y'day..

den today is Flag Day! haha... ppl avoided us like plagues when they saw ppl wearing orange & carrying a can! haha.. went to Jurong East, den to West Mall after lunch... super hot la! paired wif Joanna e whole day to attack those passers-by.. =P

and I found my "long lost" sec sch senior! he's in The Magician too.. "long lost" as in, I dunno him back den la, but he's from NCC & I'm from GG, so we might have seen each other during combined activities back den, but we just dunno each other.. no wonder he looks so familiar on e 1st day.. haha.. (there's another "long lost" senior in another group, they're friends..)

oh man! I'm so tired already la! everyday wake up so early to go sch! I'm dying soon! haha...

we headed to jasmine's house for our recording! me & celeste practised like 3 or 4 times b4 e real thing?? den we finally got down to record for 3times.. until e last part tt we were most satisfied wif.. anw, siew yong will send everything to carol for her to edit! haha...

I'm happy wif our recording! though it's not tt perfect, and I dunno if I went out of tune?? but I finally done it! at least it's better than "I Do" e other time! I nearly wan to bang my head against e wall after hearing it.. haha.. dun care! (oh... anw, e song tis time is... 抢玫瑰！obvious!)

after tt, we were slacking.. den we called meiling! coz we wan her to do star appearance! for?? *SECRET* hahaha! den they laughed at me lar! coz meiling got color-me-tone, and it's 猫头鹰 ma, so I was singing along while waiting for her to pick up... den when she picked up, I stopped abruptly & said "hello!" and we went crazy screaming "HHHHHHIIIIIII!!!!" over e phone! tt's our latest trend btw JJFC & YZFC members, started by my beloved LOVE! haha...

and den, we recorded our msg for JJ's olympic torch relay! I recorded wif love! it's so funny can! thanks to love ok! we were all laughing there.. and we took a few takes coz love sounds so funny over tt chinese sentence.. we finally finished recording when love changed e sentence into english instead! haha..
