I'm like super tired today!

QMM, Rong Ma, Da Bai Cai, Dorothy & I went to sent Yongsheng & Yueming off on different flights at the airport last evening & this morning. Both of them looked so blur as if they were flying for the first time! I hope they're fine over there. They'll be there in different parts of China for a good whole 4 months plus until July. We shall miss out on a lot of fun without them around! Boo...

Da Bai Cai & I went back to QMM's house to catch a wink for like 3-4 hours after sending Yongsheng off, before cabbing back to the airport to sent Yueming off again. Rong Ma did the same with Dorothy, but they went back to Dorothy's house instead. After sending Yueming off, I went off with QMM to NUS. Yes... That's how rushed we are! Not me exactly. haha... I went to QMM's cubicle in the office to slack until I was supposed to meet for my CS2250 meeting.

Oh yes! I tell you! 1 of my Vietnamese group mates is so amazing & funny! I was playing my JJ's songs out of boredom during discussion. My vietnamese group mate commented, his neighbour in his hall kept playing JJ's 小酒窝 (Canto ver.) everyday. Then he started humming bits and pieces of the song! It's not complete, but you can really hear some exact parts he sang ok! So amazing! He's better than me can! haha... I tried to get him to record for QMM, but he was so shy and refused =(

After discussion, I took some random buses to Ang Mo Kio to meet Ivalyn. Sorry for making her wait so long! It's the first time I meet her in person! She's really tall can! (Or is it that I'm short? haha...) I can see that she's a really nice girl! =D Anyway, I met her there to pass her something. Now I feel so blissed to find such a sweet-looking 接班人！ =D

After meeting Ivalyn, I took bus 22 back to Tampines. I slept the whole way through... Zzz... While waiting for Rong Ma to knock off from work, I went to Popular to get my Pop Club magazine. I finally got myself a decent laptop sleeve! It's not exactly purple, but I like it! It is grey in colour, and its interior is purple! wahaha... Then I accompanied Rong Ma to have her dinner & had a little chat before going home.

雨后的景象总是那么美丽。。。

I love the rainy season. =D When the rain stopped last evening, it brought us a nice surprise. The beautiful sight of a rainbow. Not 1, but 2. I've seen a rainbow quite a few times, but this is, so far, the most beautiful & complete rainbow I've even seen. Colourful, isn't it? Like me & QMM, many of us stopped to take a photo of the pleasant surprise. =D

On the other hand, I always get a shock when I try to upload photos. Unexpected. This time, it's Mr Koh's zilian photo taken on my hp the other day. =.= You people! I'm speechless.. haha...

Learn to Love, Learn to Respect.

I just dun understand.


JJ is not our teddy bear. Have those who violated his "physical privacy" ever think he might not have liked it at all? He has to accept it because he can't show it out to the audience. Do you really think he likes us to get so intimate to him? He's just another human being afterall. He has feelings.. He, JJ Lin, can also feel uncomfortable about strangers hugging him. Some just happen so suddenly. Have you ever thought about yourselves? What if a stranger suddenly rushes up to hug you? To you, it's called outrage of modesty. So what do you think it means to JJ? I mean, at least if you asked for his permission to hug, and he agrees, he will be mentally prepared. At least, that is basic courtesy and respect. Are you respecting JJ?


And I just saw the comments on his latest blog entry. A few people are demanding him about the Storm candy post. Oh please! JJ has his own freedom to post whatever he wants! Of course, I know all of us really wants him to post about the Storm candy, and we are all excited about it. We will all be more than happy if JJ really blogs about it. What if he doesn't? It's his choice you know! We DO NOT DECIDE what he wants to blog about. It's his life & his freedom of speech afterall. If he has to blog about everything we ask him to blog about, it would not be his blog anymore! It will be no difference from any commercial blog.

I haven't been blogging for more than a week! It is partly because I'm rather busy catching up due to the last week of school before mid-term break.

Another reason that I have said previously, I wanted to dedicate this 600th post to something special.

JJ @ North Point(14/02/09)

Woke up early at 7am & the 3 of us cabbed to Northpoint. I did something stupid can! On our way there, I realized I forgot the most important thing! I actually forgot to bring my concert tickets la! So dumb right! So when we reached Northpoint, Rong Ma was so nice to cab back to get them for me. So sorry! So… Almost everyone who was there knew I’m so dumb la... haha… Nvm! Hehe..

Quek Mama started briefing us helpers of our duties. After which, all of the helpers started our own tasks. My task was to hand out the hearts & explain to members what they are for, get the shoebox signed. The other people in my team are Alisa & Angela Tan. Even though I like to tease Angela, but we worked out to be a great team ok! She’s a very hardworking girl indeed!

Anyway, we split up our workload so it was easier for the 3 of us. Both of them were in charge of the hearts, and I was in charge of the shoebox. So I went telling members in the queue the purpose of the shoebox. =D It was tiring to keep repeating the stuff, but I felt the satisfaction seeing the shoebox get filled up. =D

Around noon, while the hungry me was happily taking my break for lunch, everyone else stood up in the queue. It was time for postcard redemption! So most of us stopped our duties and went to take our bags in the queue. The person was kind of shock as I was the 1st person to so many postcards. Haha…

After redemption, we went to queue in front of the stage! Love was beside me in the 2nd row. =D

Finally, 崇庆 came out to talk. The whole Northpoint was filled with big crowds of people, leaving little space for others to move! When JJ came out, he sang 《我还想她》! Oh! I totally love the JJ’s jacket! Purple checkered! He made my day! =D After that, he talked to 崇庆about his concert. After which, JJ imitated 阿杜's voice to talk & sang 《小酒窝》! So cute! =D

A girl was chosen & she was supposed say 情话 to JJ. But she was so cute & funny at the same time! Especially the way she pronounced JJ… =X And 崇庆 kept making fun of her voice & expression! Everyone was laughing la! JJ gave her a bouquet of roses with Storm candy. Then it was our JJFC member, Jolene’s turn. She won a write-love-note contest from Storm, thus received a bouquet from JJ too. And 崇庆 teased her too!








Then it was time to sign postcards! =D JJFC members intended to play a trick on JJ. Each of us gave him a tin of the Storm candy. The candy is 1 of the sponsors for his 2009 concert. Haha… After JJ signed all my 5 postcards, he looked up & smiled at me. He held out his hand himself again! =D So while shaking his oh-as-warm-as-always hand, I gave him the tin of candy. And he gave me a super cute & funny “Yah, you’re all up to no good!” look! I almost laughed out on the spot la!

JJ @ Jurong Point(14/02/09)
10-12 of us went to Jurong Point together in a maxicab. We had some rest & also fun in the cab la! Haha…

When we reached JP, there was already big crowd of people! The venue space for JP was very small, thus very squeezy. There weren’t any reserved space for JJFC initially too. It was kind of super messy! I was supposed to continue with my duty of signing the shoebox. So I had to squeeze in between the crowd to ask around. Even Alicia tried to help me shout for those who had not signed to step out. Nobody responded though. =(

When it was time for reporting, I passed the shoebox to 大白菜 & squeezed through the crowd to the front to find the YES 93.3 staff. Then I asked if I was going to sing the full song, which she told me that JJ & I would be singing the verse & chorus once. =D

Shortly, the host for the event, 玛丽 came & asked for my name for her cue sheet. She was very friendly! So was the YES 93.3 staff. =) They saw me holding my gifts for JJ & asked if the white breadou was real. Haha… They were a little surprised to see that I wrote a “情书” on it. Haha… 玛丽 talked to me at times to make sure I wasn’t nervous. She’s very amiable! =D She also helped to make announcements to the public to allow JJFC members move forward in the queue. She was almost promoting JJFC liao! Haha…

Our super duper cute QMM was very funny la! She was kind of frustrated trying to move JJFC members as some public just wouldn’t give way. After trying several failed attempts to get the attention of the organizer for help in the midst of the noisy environment, she directly ran up towards my side which was restricted to tell them what she intended to do to get help instead. She did that a few times, each time, 玛丽 was chuckling at her actions. Haha…玛丽 even asked me if QMM is JJFC chairman, which I told her we have no chairman. So funny la!

Somemore, perhaps I was wearing JJFC shirt, so strangers kept approaching to ask me how to join JJFC. Haha…

Finally, JJ arrived! He had to squeeze through the packed crowd to get onto the stage! However, JJ changed his attire! No more purple jacket. =( Once again, he sang 《我还想她》.

Finally! It was the time I was waiting for so long! OMG! After talking about JJ’s concert, 玛丽 invited me onto the stage. We talked for a while & I gave JJ my present too! Then everything just happened at that precious moment! =D

Surprisingly, I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be! At least I didn’t tremble as much this time round. =D When the music began, JJ started singing his part. Most of the time, I was looking at JJ instead of the audience! I thought I would find it very tense looking at JJ. I was so wrong! I realize I didn’t know where to look when there were so many people in the crowd. In fact, I found it more comfortable looking at JJ as there is only 1 JJ to place my focus on.

Oh! I seriously think JJ is so pro can! =D I could barely hear the music clearly as the speakers were facing towards the audience. I had to guess where I had to cut into the song, which was why I lagged a little when I came into the verse. But JJ always does it right man! =D

Anyway! 我就和JJ唱了《小酒窝》。当JJ和我唱到接近副歌的部分，JJ 主动地举起他的手示意要牵我的手！所以，我就顺意地把手交给了JJ。=D 那一刻、那一幕，让大家又是尖叫、又是欢呼。。整段副歌，就一直让JJ牵着我的手唱完。。这么一个难得的机会，将是我毕生难忘的一个回忆。

After I got off the stage, I “sneaked” back to the front of the audience where JJFC was. It was then time for concert ticket autograph session!

JJFC gave an empty glass heart-shaped bottle to JJ. Then every JJFC member handed the small foam hearts with their little message to JJ, which JJ read every single 1 of them before putting them into the glass bottle himself. =D

I went up together with Yongsheng & Yueming. When we were waiting in the queue near 玛丽, Yongsheng asked if she remembered us. Lol! 玛丽 said, yah, JJ Party 3 that couple.=.= Yongsheng was so lame & told her I 劈腿. Damn funny la.


When it was my turn, JJ smiled and helped me sign my 5 concert tickets. I think JJ kind of stared at me when I gave him the heart. I guessed he thought why I gave him such a plain foam heart. It’s because I wrote my tiny message with decoration on 1 side, and signed off plainly on the other side. So he didn’t flip my heart over & read the message at all. Oh well... =D

JJ @ e乐大赏造势活动[KBoxKUnion](14/02/09)

Siew Yong and I travelled to Orchard Cineleisure from her home. We were almost late. When we reached, I proceeded to continue asking JJFC members sign the shoebox. I was kind of confused because the waiting area is small & we had to organise members to queue in order. When we went in, I was still doing my duty. Thanks LOVE & the rest for helping me to chope seat beside her.

Before the event began, the host, Ah Ken, came out & prepared us to cheer for both JJ & BY2. Then he picked a few people to dance with JJ & BY2 for a game segment later on. Yongsheng was 1 of them. Haha…

By2 came out first & sang 《不够成熟》. Then they sang their new song for the 1st time & danced. After interviewing BY2, JJ finally appeared! =D And guess what he sang! Haha… Yup! Like again! If you can’t guess, then too bad! Ah Ken interviewed him about his Valentine’s Day the day before. I love JJ & Ah Ken talking to each other! They have the chemistry & love to make us laugh with their actions & jokes! Haha…





Following on, it was the dance segment! Haha… JJ & BY2 demonstrated dancing 《不潮不用花钱》, after which, it was the 3 chosen members’ turn! JJ was very nice! Ah Ken wanted JJ to choose who danced the best & gave the winner 10 SG E-Awards tickets, but JJ gave all 3 of them. =D

JJ then sang 《小酒窝》. So sweet! =D After singing that song, Ah Ken suddenly asked “谁认为自己很了解JJ?” I was so random to raise my hand so quickly! Haha… So Ah Ken picked me, and asked me what is JJ’s 腰围… I hesitated & answered, “30”. Ah Ken asked me to confirm my answer a few times while asking JJ. Anyway, I’m correct! =D Therefore, Ah Ken 恭喜me for answering correctly & ask me to go up. I was so blur! I even asked LOVE, “HUH? Go where? What am I supposed to do?” It was so random la! It turned out Ah Ken picked 4 audiences to go up & play games with JJ.

The game is called “含水脉脉”, which we had to try to sing a song with water in our mouth, and JJ/BY2 had to guess the song. I was a team with Sophie & we had to go first. I was the first one. Ah Ken tested me by asking what my name is. I was kind of happy, because JJ actually replied, “我知道！贞秀嘛！很清楚啊。” I don’t think he or BY2 can apprehend what I said la, but he’d recalled my name from the day before. =D

Anyway, I went twice, and both JJ guessed correctly. Sophie’s one was so funny! She swallowed water 3times, and gargled the water instead when she tried to sing! It was so hilarious that even JJ couldn’t control himself, he laughed until he turn 1 round and nearly sat on the floor! Hahaha… Still, our team won! =D

JJ said he wanted to play the game as well. He was given sparkling juice instead of plain water. If BY2 guessed correctly, Ah Ken would give the audience 3 booklets(24tickets each) of ticket to SG E-Awards event. JJ almost spit out the water at 1 point of time!

So we were given the 3 booklets of tickets! JJ & BY2 didn’t know how to distribute the tickets, so JJ decided they each throw a booklet & the person who caught it would share with others. JJ was SO RIGHT! He encouraged the people at the back to try catching too, because raising hand might hit them & they would go bouncing towards the back. Instead of bouncing back this time, 1 booklet that was actually threw much further bounced back to the front! Furthermore, it landed next to me, on my bag! Haha… So I actually got it! Most importantly! It’s the booklet that JJ threw! Wahaha… I’m so lucky! Everyone was trying to fight for it. Since it landed at my area, I promised everyone surrounding me that they would definitely get a ticket. JJ & Ah Ken praised our side to be “很乖” because we were the only side that everyone waited patiently to distribute the tickets. =D

I've confirmed with 93.3 the song I'm going to sing with JJ this coming Sat! It turns out that I get to choose the song afterall! =D So cool right! Well.. You can guess what song WE ARE going to sing! It's really an easy guess. It's Valentine's Day! haha.. I'm so looking forward to the event! Wee~~

I finally find the time to buy 1 PURPLE shorts, 1 PURPLE knee-length pants, 1 PURPLE shirt! Total damage done was $46.80 in 15minutes! *OUCH!* I'm so pleased with myself now. =D



And Yongsheng told me something that is... funny? horrifying? fake? like... oh well...

oh gosh... I might just faint and die. I'm still taking a break when there are so many things left undone! But I'm seriously tired from seeing all those powerpoint slides and notes about Verb Forms. There's so many variations on the web.. I think I shall continue during my breaks tomorrow. There's still CS1231 tutorial to be touched on, which is due tomorrow.

And I screwed up my CS1102 sit-in lab this afternoon. I guess many people did too. We were all caught unexpected. To think I spent so much time trying to revise on Inheritance & Interface the day before! Yet nothing of the sort came out. Felt kind of cheated. Well... Instead of crying over "screwed java codes", I shall looking on the bright side of things. There's 3 more sit-in labs for me to do well in! 3/4 of the labs will be chosen. Furthermore, I've caught up on 3 more topics in CS1102X, which I'm really glad I forced myself to study for. =D



I just don't understand why some people are so self-centred. All they think is about they, themselves, and themselves. What about the others? Can't they spare a thought for the rest? Why do people have to accommodate to their persistence? If you're a slave yourself, don't make others to be under your slavery! I don't get it! You live your life, and I live mine. I decide if I choose to compromise to certain things, and not others. It just make me pissed off that people get pissed off over me for unimportant things.

It's Valentine's Day!

And I get the chance to sing with JJ! =D


There was this JJ contest over the week on YES 93.3, and listeners were supposed to call in and sing any JJ song. Thanks Rong Ma for telling me about the contest! =D

So I tried calling in the 1st time on wed. I tried a few times and was about to give up already. Then the phone started ringing! I ACTUALLY GOT THROUGH! I was so excited and nervous at the same time, which I was literally trembling throughout! 伟彬 picked up my call and asked what song I was going to sing. When I said, 《醉赤壁》, 伟彬 mentioned 《醉赤壁》很难唱喔... I know! But I was super nervous, so all I could remember of a whole JJ song at that point of time was《 醉赤壁》! That is indeed a tough song, especially for such a noob who goes out of tune at point of time for me! Anyway, 伟彬 asked me to sing the chorus, and I did... When I sang, even my voice was trembling! Omg! Plus, I went out of tune a few times and rushed through the chorus! haha... After singing, 伟彬 asked why did I choose/like this song. I was still trembling from the unbelievable truth, all I could reply was, “因为很好听。。” I think 伟彬 likes the song too! =D

Anyway, the contest is held from Mon to Fri, which they pick a listener each day. On the last day, which was yesterday, they would pick the final winner who gets to sing with JJ on stage at the Jurong Point event. Only 1 winner la! We didn’t even know how YES 93.3 was going to pick the final winner initially! I was praying hard from Wednesday until the contest was finalized!

I would like to thank the 8-10 JJFC peeps who voted for me! And if there is ever any kind soul out there who had voted my awful singing too. =D this is because the final winner was to be voted by the audience. So when we heard that the final winner was to be decided by sms voting, everyone who was present at the reunion at that time helped me to vote! So I was the final winner!

Really big thanks to everyone! =D If the final winner is to be chosen by singing standard, I don’t think I’ll be able to win =D



Anyway! Yesterday’s reunion dinner with JJFC peeps was fun!

I met Rong Ma in Tampines at 1pm after her work. We then went down to Safra Radio 88.3fm to collect her prize. Omg... The security was damn tight. We spent more time getting into the place than collecting her prize. After that, we went to Mediacorp Publishing to collect my Twilight goodie bag, which consists of a mug, a mouse pad, and a pair of movie tickets.

It was raining by the time we reached Ubi. We went to buy some food before going back to her house.

The peeps there were me, Rong Ma, Quek Mama, Da Bai Cai, Faye, Rae, Ivy, and Meixuan. It was a pity because Dorothy was sick, so she could come. We had a sumptuous dinner! There were Rong Ma papa’s fried bee hoon, sushi that Rae bought, grilled chicken wings that Da Bai Cai bought, fried fish fillets & hotdogs that Rong Ma cooked. Wahaha…

After dinner, we sang and recorded 《梦想的翅膀》and helped prepare some material for some stuff.

We had our lohei at 10plus because most of them needed to go home. It was super funny can! Haha… After that, only me and Angela stayed over. Yongsheng, Yueming and Ailing came at around 1am. Me, Rong Ma, Yongsheng and Yueming had our mahjong session until 6am. We were all finally tired and went to sleep.

I had to wake up at 9am to prepare to go for TOUCH activity. We had a lot of fun with the elderly for our CNY activities held outside the centre! Most of them were very happy because they had games and CNY goodies to eat/bring home! After that, I went to the nearby hawker centre with Yuyan and Peijie to have lunch. Super hungry by the time we ended! Went home a different way from usual with Yuyan after that. Reached home super tired. Phews..

I hope I can keep my anticipation down.. =D

SO MUCH school work to catch up with..
and everything else..

I do love my previous blog URL! it's still my blog title.. and I do not think I'll change it.. but few knows the reason I changed it.. well...

oh! Angela(Ang) says my current blog URL sounds like "Shokubutsu".. haha!!! I did find it familiar too! it's cute what! the new blog URL represents how I say "Hi" and "Bye" to people, especially on msn! Maybe if I decide to change again, I shall change it to "Kodomo" ok? Fine.. I'm just being lame!


Anyway! I'm pretty lucky recently!
1 of which is, CS1231 make-up lecture was cancelled! Yeah! I'm not gloating over it being cancelled.. but it is supposedly scheduled on 14th Feb. Who wants to attend lectures on Valentine's Day? Especially it means going back to school on a Saturday! The most important thing is, JJ's coming back on that day!

Another thing is... well... some of you already know it.. and for the rest... I think I'll keep it in suspense until Sat.. =D Nevertheless, whatever the outcome is, I had a great experience! =D
